Our industry analysis revealed a high demand for skilled CNC Operators and shopfloor Quality Control professionals. Companies often struggle with manpower shortages, relying on contractors whose workers lack essential skills and have low retention rates. Recognizing the precision and reliability of women workers, we engaged with industries and received strong interest from them for the inclusion of women in their workforce.

When we floated a training program for women for CNC operation and programming, many women enrolled from economically weaker backgrounds, making this skill training inaccessible. La Foundation stepped in as a key partner to support the underprivileged women, enabling us to design a comprehensive training program in collaboration with Maha Cluster Council Industrial Training Center.

With guidance from Master Trainer Mr. Ramkrishna Borhade, industry collaborations, and careful planning, we launched the four-month Women Empowerment Training Program (Aspira) for CNC Programming and Quality Control on September 23, 2024. The program combined theoretical and practical training, industry visits, soft skills development, and SOLIDWORKS software training by volunteers from Dassault Systemes.

A high point for the trainees Shamil Thakre and Manisha Dadhe was to have a privilege of meeting Mr. Bernard Charles, Global Executive Chairman of Dassault Systèmes.

Upon completion, participants secured job placements, marking a significant step toward their professional success.
